Leadership and empowerment, especially for women, is an important part of SQ’s people agenda. SQ Group currently employs more than 13,000 people majority of who are women. As an advocate of Equal Employment Opportunity, SQ is giving opportunities to deserving women, making them skilled through capability development programs, and as an outcome assisting them to have a better socio-economic status.
And it does not stop there. SQ is proud to have in its team, many talented women who are occupying Leadership roles in Production, Planning, Shared Services and elsewhere. As the newest addition, Anu Rani Deb has joined as the Head of Factory HR for the Celsius Unit-2 cluster.
Ms Anu brings with her more than 9 years of experience in the field of HR and Admin at various renowned multinational organizations including GrameenPhone, Youngone Group, Kenpark Bangladesh Apparel (Pvt.) Ltd and Change Associates Ltd. She has completed her MBA in HRM & Finance from University of Science & Technology Chittagong, Bangladesh and also has a Advanced Diploma in HRM from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM).
Ms Anu’s joining would surely be inspiring for the talented young women working in SQ. The Top Management team is confident on her capability and is willing to extend all possible support to make her efforts successful.
