“Kutumbita” mobile app implementation in SQ Group gets national news coverage

SQ Group is currently in the process of implementing a distinctive mobile phone application called “Kutumbita”. The target is to cover the entire workforce under this advanced technical platform.

On January 14, a team of prominent journalists from different news agencies accompanied by BGMEA representative visited the SQ Station. Their objective was to learn more about the company, the culture and its unique approach to people development.

Implementation of mobile app Kutumbita is one of the unique approaches and it is the first of its kind in the industry. Communication is always a challenge. And this platform helps in reaching and engaging with non-desk workforce.  Kutumbita, a mobile phone internal communication platform, is all about employee engagement.  It will empower entire workforce to interact, share, and collaborate no matter where they are and what they do.   The branding is centered around its name “Kutumbita”, which is essentially the Bengali translation of Connection, Kin or Kinship.  Kutumbita is a tool to connect and empower factory workforce towards a Better Life. It’s about creating an “Always on” organization.
